GarconJon wants...Faded Sunday

The worst thing about an amazing weekend is the feeling you get on Monday morning. I'm currently dreaming about breakfast in bed with the Sunday papers and afternoon tea with friends in the sunshine. For me, the weekend is about minimising stress and so I like to dress in a similar fashion. To elaborate on my week-end-day-dreaming, I decided to pull together my top picks for next week's relaxation.

See the details below or head to for more.

1. The Berlin based Mykita is consistently cool with their shades but collaborating with Margiela just seriously upped the stakes. You can't get better than this strong architectural design.

2. Generally, I don't like wearing jewellery. I usually wear one family ring and a watch but anything clunky or fiddly and it's off. All of Uniform Wares' designs are incredibly well thought out, but deceptive in their minimalism which is perfect for me. I'd love to get my hands on one...or at least get one around my wrist.

3. Last year on a trip abroad with mates, one of them pull out a scented candle from his case. The ridicule quickly ended when we found his room a haven of harmonious homeliness thanks to APC. Ever since I've kept one on my desk to help me focus while working, from the likes of Jonathan Ward, Penhaligon's and APC - next on my list to try is the latter's Tobacco scent.

 4. A suede jacket brings vintage vibes and is soft yet structured in equal measure. This one from Reiss aligns with the YMC jumper well but also feels like something a contemporary Steve McQueen would pull off well.

 5. The London brand You Must Create designs perfect casual menswear. This sweatshirt feels luxurious but is super basic. The shape is great and the faded dye feels like it was made for a Sunday.

6. These corduroy trousers manage to skirt around retro-realness by bringing a blend of cotton and cashmere to your legs. Can't go wrong with that colour and cut either.

7. Original's Desert Boots are everywhere on the streets of London, so much so I'm planning to invest in a new pair for Autumn. These simple grey suede boots go well with jeans, chinos, linen tailored trousers...pretty much everything.
